The Zhang Sifang 张嗣房

Zhang Sifang (? - 1326) was a Taoist monk at Longhu Mountain during the reign of Emperor Renzong of the Yuan Dynasty.

He was the great-disciple of Zhang Liusun. He was honest and sincere by nature, and delighted in giving alms to help the poor.

Zhang Sifang loved reading and was skilled in writing poetry and prose. He built Yuanyuan Temple at Xianyan; later, he followed Zhang Liusun to have an audience with the emperor.

Emperor Renzong thought highly of him, conferring upon him the title "Dharma Master of Embodying the Dao, Penetrating the Mysterious, and Being Profoundly Calm" and appointing him to oversee Yuelu Palace in Tanzhou Circuit.

He passed away in the Taiding era (1326).
