Zhang Taihe was a native of Gusu (present-day Suzhou City) during the early Ming Dynasty.

He was a Taoist priest of the Qingwei (Pure Subtlety) School and served as a mage at Wenchang Palace in Taiping Prefecture, Nanjing.

During the Yongle era, he was officially appointed by imperial order as the "Tidian" (Senior Administrator) of Jingle Palace at Wudang Mountain.

Ordained at 25 after a dream from the Celestial Master, he has practiced for 25 years under Master Zeng Guangliang. He is one of the curators of this store, which is officially authorized by Tianshi Fu. All items are consecrated at the temple by the resident priest team.
