Zhang Youlin was a Taoist priest of Mingyuan Courtyard at Longhu Mountain in Jiangxi during the early Ming Dynasty.
His courtesy name was Xiuwen.

During the Hongwu era of the Ming Dynasty, he was summoned to the capital by imperial edict, appointed as a "Gaoshi" (Eminent Scholar of the Taoist Sect), and soon promoted to "Tidian" (a senior Taoist administrator). He was in charge of affairs related to Tai Shangqing Palace and other Taoist temples.
