Zhang Yuanying was a native of Changsha during the reign of Emperor Lizong of the Southern Song Dynasty (1127–1279).

During the Jingding era (1260–1264), he encountered an extraordinary person (a Taoist adept or hermit) who imparted Taoist doctrines and rituals to him. Thereafter, he became a Taoist Priest.
Endowed with proficiency in Taoist practices, he was skilled in praying for rain and commanding thunder, and his rituals were quite effective (miraculously responsive).

Paul Peng is a Zhengyi Taoist priest from Longhu Mountain, Jiangxi — the ancestral home of the Celestial Masters' tradition. Ordained at 25 after a dream from the Celestial Master, he has practiced for 25 years under Master Zeng Guangliang. He is one of the curators of this store, which is officially authorized by Tianshi Fu. All items are consecrated at the temple by the resident priest team.
