The Zhang Zhengyan 张正言

Zhang Zhengyan (? - 1359) was the 41st Heavenly Master of the Zhengyi Sect. His courtesy name was Donghua.
He was the eldest son of Zhang Side, the 40th Heavenly Master.

In the 13th year of Zhizheng (1353), he inherited the Taoist leadership. He was officially appointed "Mingcheng Ningdao Hongwen Guangjiao Dazhenren" (Great True Person of Bright Sincerity, Concentrated Dao, Expansive Literature, and Broad Teaching) by imperial decree, taking charge of the Three Mountains Talismans and administering Taoist affairs in the Jiangnan region.
In the 19th year of Zhizheng (1359), he passed away due to illness.
