Paul PengZhao Dexiang lived during the Zhiyuan era of the Yuan Dynasty.
He was bestowed the title of "Great Master of Chongzhen Yandao" (Great Master Who Revere the Truth and Expound the Dao) and officially appointed as "Tiandian" (an official in charge of religious affairs) overseeing the Zhen dadao School (True Great Dao School) across various administrative regions.
