The Zhao Min 赵民

The Zhao Min 赵民

Paul Peng
Zhao Min was a native of Tianshui, Gansu, during the Song Dynasty, and went by the Taoist title "Xiqin Jiangzhenzi" (True Person Descended from Western Qin).

He claimed that he met an accomplished Taoist master, obtained the Daoist teachings, and thus attained enlightenment. After that, he left Xiqin (the historical name for the region around present-day Gansu) to travel around the country, and later lived in seclusion while blending into the mundane world.

He wrote Dan Jia Ji (Collection of Dan Jia).
