The Zhao Xianfu 赵仙甫

Paul Peng
Zhao Xianfu was a Taoist priest during the reign of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty.
When Emperor Xuanzong wrote Annotations on the Dao De Jing, Zhao Xianfu, together with other scholars including Taoist priest Wang Xuzheng and Zuo Changshi (a court official title) Cui Mian, participated in the discussion, compilation and revision of the work, and wrote annotations for it.
The collaborative effort resulted in Imperially Compiled Annotations on the Dao De Jing, a ten-volume work that was included in the Yujue (Jade Commentaries) category of the Dongshen (Spiritual Grotto) section in the Taoist Canon (Daozang).
