Eulogies to the Divine Chapters by Various Immortals
The original text of Eulogies to the Divine Chapters by Various Immortals has no recorded author.

Research shows it should have been compiled by Taoist priests of the Shangqing School in the late Tang Dynasty and the Five Dynasties.
It is a one-volume work and included in the "Eulogy Category" of the "Dongxuan Section" in the Taoist Canon (Daozang).
This book compiles 13 types of eulogy poems (a total of 57 poems) from the Shangqing School of Taoism during the Six Dynasties, Tang and Sui dynasties.
Except for the first type, Eulogies for Qinghua Saving from Suffering (3 poems), the other 12 types are all recorded in Volumes 98 to 99 of The Seven Slips of the Cloudy Satchel (Yunji Qiqian).
Most of the chapters are falsely claimed to be gifts or teachings from immortal true beings, such as Verses Gifted by Lady Taizhen to Ma Mingsheng, Verses Received by Lady Youying of Yunlin from True Being Yang and Chief Administrative Secretary Xu, Verses Presented by an Immortal to Bai Yongnian, Works Composed by Lady of Nanyue for Chief Administrative Secretary Xu, etc. Their content either eulogizes the wonders of immortal wandering and "Step-in-Vacuity" (Buxu) rituals, or praises the practices of learning the Dao and reciting scriptures.
In the Yunji Qiqian version, each chapter of eulogy poems is preceded by a short preface; however, all prefaces were deleted in the Daozang version. This indicates that the Daozang version was compiled after Yunji Qiqian.
