The Zhou Wusuozhu 周无所住
Paul PengShare
Zhou Wusuozhu was a native of Yongjia (now part of Zhejiang Province) during the Southern Song Dynasty (1127–1279).
He studied under Fang Bixu (a descendant of Peng Si’s disciples) and Lin Ziran of Chicheng, from whom he learned the Dao of the Golden Elixir (the core theory of Taoist internal alchemy). Later, he also paid a visit to Master Li (Zhenren Li), who was Lin Ziran’s teacher, and received the orthodox transmission of alchemical methods from him.

In the 10th year of the Chunyou reign (1250), he compiled Direct Instructions on the Golden Elixir (Jindan Zhizhi), a work in one volume.
