Paul PengShare
Zhou Yinyao was a figure of the Tang Dynasty, with the courtesy name Xiyuan.
During the Baoli era of the Tang Dynasty (825–827 CE), he served as the abbot of Chongyuan Shengzu Yuan (Chongyuan Sage Ancestor Courtyard, a Taoist institution). He also resided at Baoshan Mountain on Dongting Island in Taihu Lake for a period.

He possessed profound Taoist abilities: he did not adjust his rest according to day and night, did not change his clothing thickness with heat and cold, and did not consume food or drink yet had strength far beyond ordinary people.
