Zhou Yuanpu (? - 1450) was a native of Xi'an, Shaanxi, during the Ming Dynasty.

His original name was Zhisheng, and his literary name was Dazhuo (meaning "Great Simplicity").

As recorded in Jingai Xindeng (The Golden Canopy and the Lamp of the Heart), Zhou Yuanpu had a keen interest in the profound teachings of Taoism.

During the late Yuan Dynasty, when wars and chaos prevailed, he retreated to live in seclusion on Zhongnan Mountain. At the age of 48, he left his family and went to Qingcheng Mountain to practice Taoism. He studied under Taoist Chen Tongwei, inherited the precepts of the Longmen (Dragon Gate) School of Taoism, and did not set foot in secular cities for more than 50 years.

Later, he met Zhang Zongren from Tiantai Mountain and Shen Jingyuan from Shanxi. From them, he fully inherited the doctrines and precepts of the Longmen School. He passed away in October of the first year of the Jingtai reign (1450).

Zhou Yuanpu was the fourth-generation "Law Master" (a Taoist title for those who inherit and uphold religious precepts) of the Longmen School.
