Zhu Songqing was a figure of the Southern Song Dynasty.

During the Chunxi era (1174–1189 CE), Zhu obtained two works: Recorded Sayings of Immortal Xu (Xu Shenweng Yulu), which had been printed in Yanling, and Account of Immortal Xu’s Preaching and Miracles (Xu Shenweng Xinghua Zhuang), compiled by Pan Ruyi.
Additionally, he consulted oral traditions passed down by elderly locals, and referenced texts such as Notes from the Eastern Verandah (Dongxuan Bilu) and Alternative Records from Longchuan (Longchuan Biezhi). After making additions and omissions based on these sources, he compiled Recorded Sayings of Master Xu, the Void-Pure and Calm-Harmonious Immortal (Xujing Chonghe Xiansheng Xu Shenweng Yulu), a two-volume work that was circulated in the world.
