The Zhuo Wanchun 卓晚春

Zhuo Wanchun was a native of Putian during the Jiajing reign period of the Ming Dynasty. He styled himself "Wuxianzi" (Master Without Immortality) and "Shangyangzi" (Master of Upper Yang), and people of his time called him "Xiaoxian" (Little Immortal).

When the imperial court summoned him, he firmly declined to take office. In winter, he walked on snow with bare feet, wore linen clothes, and drank cold water, leaving a trail of extraordinary deeds.

His comments on the merits and demerits of world affairs were quite often proven accurate.
