Zhurou was a Taoist priest of the Chen Dynasty who advocated the theory of "Sanyi Chongxuan" (the Three-Oneness and Profound Mystery). His theories were cited in Bianzheng Lun (Treatise on Distinguishing the Correct [Faith]) by Shi Falin (a Buddhist monk).
