What is the Nine Ones in Taoism?
Refers to the Qi of Jiu Yi formed by the production of three qi each from the Mysterious, Primal, and Original Qi. They are respectively: Supreme One, Imperial One, Divine One, Primal One, True One, Heavenly One, Mysterious One, Great One, and Correct One.
Shangqing Taishang Kai Tian Long Qiao Jing explains:
“Jiu Yi unify and transform, their marvelous workings boundless.
The Mysterious, Primal, and Original Qi together generate nine gates.
Three denominations each with three divisions, hence it is called Jiu Yi.”
What is the Nine Ones in Taoism?
Nine-colored precious radiance has the Original One as their master.
