How can one quickly enter the state of meditation and concentration in cultivation?

On my journey of Taoist practice, I deeply perceive that meditation is a crucial act. It is not merely a physical posture but truly a bridge for the mind to move towards tranquility and profoundness.

To engage in meditation, one must first find a quiet place. Stay away from the hustle and bustle and immerse oneself in serenity. It could be a quiet room or a secluded spot in nature. Here, all external distractions are eliminated, creating the conditions for inner peace.

Sit down slowly and adjust one's posture. Keep the spine straight yet not stiff. Place both hands naturally on the knees with palms facing down. This posture makes the body stable without being tense. Close the eyes and commence taking deep breaths. Inhale deeply to fill the abdomen with air and feel its expansion; exhale slowly to expel the turbid qi from the body. After several breaths, the body gradually relaxes, and the mind is also liberated from the daily busyness.

Calm the mind and sense the energy deep within the universe. This is the key to entering the meditative state. In this process, I learn to let go of distracting thoughts and make my mind like a calm lake without ripples. Whenever a thought arises, don't deliberately drive it away. Just observe it gently and let it disappear naturally. Like watching clouds drift by in the sky without being influenced by them. Through continuous practice, the mind becomes quieter, and there are fewer and fewer distracting thoughts.

As the practice of mind cultivation deepens, a wonderful feeling gradually emerges. That is an indescribable tranquility, as if time has come to a standstill. In this state, one feels connected with the surrounding world, and everything is in harmony and unity. This may be the state that people call "mysterious and even more mysterious". In this state, there is no worry, no anxiety, only pure existence.
Entering this state is not achieved overnight. It requires continuous effort and patience. Sometimes, distracting thoughts surge frequently, making it difficult to maintain calm. However, I know that this is a part of practice and one must not be discouraged. Every session of meditation is a new attempt and an opportunity to explore deep within oneself.

In meditation, one also learns to listen to the voice of one's own heart. Those feelings and intuitions that are usually ignored gradually appear in tranquility. This makes me know myself better and also have a deeper understanding of life.
Meditation practice is a dialogue with oneself and a baptism for the soul. Through the unity of mind and the universe, entering that mysterious and even more mysterious state, I find inner peace and strength. In a busy life, having this harbor to return to, I can face life's challenges with a more peaceful mindset.

May everyone who embarks on the path of practice be able to find their own tranq
