Incense-Burning Spell
Heaven aids all without partiality,
The celestial order penetrates the subtlest realms.
No depth is too profound, no darkness too obscure,
Nothing escapes its perception.
Wearing the talisman and sacred diagrams,
Divine soldiers answer my call at will.
I follow the Dao to the Supreme Lord,
To ascend and take my place in the immortal capital.
Hasten, hasten, in accordance with the law!

"Incense-burning" here means igniting incense to let its smoke rise. The general meaning of this incantation is: Heaven assists the operation of all things without selfishness, and the celestial order can reach the most delicate and subtle places. There is no deep or quiet place that it cannot perceive. When wearing the spiritual talismans and sacred diagrams, the divine soldiers and generals will obey my summons. When I encounter the Supreme Lord on the path of cultivating immortality, I will surely receive support and guidance, and be admitted into the immortal realm.
