Li Daochun's Commentary on the Great Pervasion Classic
The scripture is divided into three chapters, expounding the purport of the Heavenly Dao, mind-nature, as well as realizing the Dao and cultivating the mind. The annotator explains the title of the scripture as follows: "Supreme means there is nothing higher to ascend; Great Penetration means unimpeded in all aspects; Scripture means the path to attaining immortality, the way accessible to all." The annotations are concise and lucid, elaborating on the Quanzhen school’s theory of illuminating the mind and perceiving one’s nature.
