Qingwei Mystic Pivot Petition Rituals
This liturgical rite is used to present petitions to the Celestial Emperor of True Origin and Marvelous Transformation of Qingwei, the Celestial Emperor of Purple Pavilion and Great Greatness of Qingwei, the Heavenly Lord of Grand Beginning of Qingwei, as well as the various ancestral masters and deities of the Qingwei Sect, praying for protection of life, extension of longevity, elimination of disasters and salvation from misfortunes.
The ritual procedure includes entering the altar, reciting scriptures and incantations of Heaven and Earth, drawing talismans and summoning generals, lighting lamps, descending the deities, giving thanks, and making vows.
