The second category consists of works by Yanluozi of the Five Dynasties, including Ode to the Physical Shell, Poem on Master Lü’s Taming the Restless Mind, Poems on Nurturing Life and Extending Destiny, On the Diagram of Inner Observation, Classic of Inner Observation, Mnemonics for Residing and Guarding the Nine Palaces, Treatise on the Three Dantians, Treatise on External and Internal Alchemy, and others. Most of these texts discuss the internal organs and the Dantians.
