Shen Yafu's Yin Fu Jing Commentary

Originally titled "Annotated by Shen Yafu, Compiler-in-Chief of Documents".

Tongzhi·Yiwen Lue (Comprehensive Records of Literature and Arts) cataloged the work as a one-volume text, which was presumably compiled during the Northern Song Dynasty. The surviving version is included in the Yujue (Jade Secrets) category of The Dongzhen Section in The Daozang.

Shen Yafu's Yin Fu Jing Commentary

A preface precedes the volume, providing an overview of the scripture’s purport and elaborating extensively on Internal Alchemy theories. Nevertheless, the annotations themselves are concise and straightforward. The scripture text is based on the 300-character version, divided into three chapters: Upper, Middle, and Lower.

The end of the volume contains missing content, which can be supplemented and emended by referencing the version in Daozang Jiyao (Essential Compilation of the Daozang).
