The Chen Jianshao 陈鉴韶

Chen Jianshao was a native of Fujian during the Ming Dynasty.
When he was in his teens, he lost his wife; after that, he became a monk and practiced asceticism at Mount Gu. Later, he traveled to various famous mountains such as Mount Mao and Mount Wudang, visiting masters and making friends with fellow practitioners. He devoted his entire life to spiritual cultivation.
