The Supreme Divine Scripture of the Golden Yang Element from the Taiwei Yellow Book of Dongzhen by the Heavenly Emperor Lord
The Supreme Divine Scripture of the Golden Yang Element from the Taiwei Yellow Book of Dongzhen by the Heavenly Emperor Lord is an early classic of the Shangqing School, probably compiled during the Eastern Jin and Southern Dynasties.

Originally, it was the seventh chapter of the eight-volume Taiwei Yellow Book of Dongzhen. In the existing version of the Taoist Canon, it is separated as an independent volume and included in the "Divine Talisman Category" of the "Dongzhen Section".
The opening part of the scripture is The Universal Text of the Supreme Emperor for Summoning the Soul, which outlines the practice of the "embryonic breathing" method from the Golden Yang Element Scripture, as well as the techniques of visualizing deities and taking talismans. Next, it records eighteen "Shangqing Stone Scenery Talismans" and one "Supreme Emperor's Soul-Summoning Talisman".
All these talismans are intended for wearing or ingestion, and the scripture details the methods of wearing and ingesting them.
It is claimed that by practicing in accordance with the methods in the scripture, one can achieve the state of "riding a dragon to traverse the mysterious realm and gradually elevating one's physical form to ascend".
At the end of the volume, there is an attached comment that briefly describes the origin of the Stone Scenery Golden Yang Element Scripture. It states that this scripture is one of the eight volumes of the Taiwei Yellow Book, and in the past, a True Person (Zhenren) transmitted it to Xu Yuanyou (Xu Mai, a Taoist priest of the Eastern Jin Dynasty) in Chicheng Mountain.
This attached comment should have been written by Taoist priests during the Southern and Northern Dynasties.
