The Scripture of the Life-Preserving Divine Spell of the Supreme Void Sovereign

The author is unknown, and the text is presumably a work by Taoist priests during the Song and Yuan dynasties.

It is included in the Text Category of the Dongxuan Section of the Daozang (Taoist Canon).

Written entirely in fifty-six lines of four-character rhymed verses, this scripture is in fact a complete divine spell. It is stated that reciting this spell can invoke the resonance of the Supreme Void Sovereign and the deities of the Five Directions, thereby preserving life and consolidating vital energy, dispelling evil spirits and obtaining blessings.
