Li Shizhong (? - 1418) was a native of Jiangdu, Jiangsu, in the early Ming Dynasty.

In his youth, he was fond of reading the works of Laozi, Zhuangzi, and The Book of Changes. Later, he went to Sanmao Mountain and studied Taoism under a virtuous and learned scholar.
In the early years of the Hongwu reign (1368), he was ordered to serve as the abbot of Chongzhen Wanshou Palace in Beijing, and later held the position of Daoji (a local Taoist administrative official).

As recorded in The Annals of Taihe Mountain (Great Yue): In the first year of the Yongle reign (1403), the Yongle Emperor (Emperor Chengzu of the Ming Dynasty) highly valued his Taoist attainments and merits, and officially appointed him as Youzhengyi (the second-ranking official) of the Daolu Division (the top imperial agency managing national Taoist affairs).

Recommended by Zhang Yuqing, the 44th Heavenly Master of Taoism, he was appointed by imperial decree as the Tidian (a senior Taoist administrative position) of Xingsheng Wulong Palace on Wudang Mountain.

He passed away due to illness in the 16th year of the Yongle reign.
