The Liang Chaojing 梁朝㭠

Liang Chaojing was a native of Menghua Zhili Ting (Menghua Directly Administered Subprefecture) in Yunnan during the Qing Dynasty.

He was also known by the name Miaoquan, and it was traditionally said that he was associated with Zishi Mountain in Wudang Mountains (or alternatively, that he was styled "Hermit of Zishi Mountain" from Wudang Mountains).

According to records in Xuxiu Menghua Zhili Ting Zhi·Xianshi (Revised Continued Annals of Menghua Directly Administered Subprefecture·Immortals and Buddhists), he was proficient in the internal alchemy (Neidan) methods of Taoism as expounded in texts such as Can Tong Qi (The Scripture of Unity and Conformity) and Wu Zhen Pian (The Awakening to Reality). When he traveled to Guizhou during his journeys, he encountered Bai Haiqiong, who presented him with a scroll of poems. Later, he returned to Menghua and passed away peacefully without suffering from any illness.
