The Lu Zhigang 鲁志刚
Paul PengShare
Lu Zhigang was a native of Chuzhou, Anhui (now part of Anhui Province) during the Ming Dynasty.
In his youth, he converted to Daoism and was taught the "Zaijie Method" (a Daoist cultivation technique focused on regulating vital energy and life span).

He resided in the mountains, practicing "fuqi canxia" (absorbing vital energy from the air and celestial radiance) as well as "tuna daoyin" (respiration regulation and guiding exercises). Later, he entered Wudang Mountain to pursue Daoist cultivation, and his final whereabouts remain unknown.
For detailed accounts of his life, see Chuzhou Zhi (Gazetteer of Chuzhou).
