The Numinous Treasure Golden Register Penitential Liturgy

Compiled by Du Guangting, a Taoist priest of the late Tang and Five Dynasties periods.

It is a single scroll, incorporated into the section of Ritual Norms under The Dongzhen Section of The Daozang.
This text records the Ritual of Repentance, one of the various liturgical rites of the Golden Register Fasting. Consecrated as a fasting ceremony held on behalf of the emperor, it entails professing allegiance and repentance to the Supreme Numinous Treasure Heavenly Venerable of the Ten Directions and the Infinite as well as other divine spirits, with prayers for the eternal peace of the whole realm, the unification of culture and norms across the land, the health and bliss of all the people, and the abundant growth of all grains.
