The Pu Shanyuan 蒲善渊

Pu Shanyuan was a native of Guanxi during the late Yuan and early Ming dynasties.
He studied under Qiu Xuanqing and became a Quanzhen Taoist priest. In the 15th year of the Hongwu era (1382), he was appointed as the Taoist Administrator of Junzhou.

During the Yongle era, he was dispatched on missions to various regions to consult and seek out virtuous, eminent figures. Later, he passed away without illness at Yuanmiao Temple in Zhanggong.
