The Shangqing Taiwei Dijun Jiedai Zhenwen Fa 上清太微帝君结带真文法

As noted in the original scripture's title annotation: "Also known as The Text of Intertwined Sashes, excerpted from The Scripture of Intertwined Sashes of the Taiwei Heaven."

The opening line of the main text states: "The following is from Volume 31, Part Four of the Dongzhen (Grotto Truth) Scripture, a authentic manuscript by Master Lu." From this, it can be inferred that this text is an excerpt from the Shangqing (Supreme Clarity) scriptures compiled during the Eastern Jin and Southern Dynasties.

The Catalogue of the Supreme Clarity Great Cavern Scripture records a text titled The Intertwined Sashes of the Mysterious Capital of Supreme Clarity, which is suspected to be the same as this work. With a total of only over 600 characters, the entire text describes the methods for writing and ingesting the "Nine Talismans of the Upper Region," "Nine Talismans of the Middle Region," and "Nine Talismans of the Lower Region," though the actual talismanic diagrams are not included.

It is claimed that this method was transmitted by the Supreme Emperor of the Taiwei Heaven to the High Jade Emperor (Yu Huang Shangdi). Those who write and ingest these talismans in accordance with the prescribed rituals are said to ascend to the Nine Heavens.
