The Scripture of Longevity, Extending Life, and Accumulating Blessings and Virtues, Expounded by the Supreme
The author of this scripture is unknown.
It is believed to have originated between the Tang and Song dynasties.

Consisting of one scroll, it is included in the Text Category of the Cave True Section of the Daoist Canon.
Attributed to the Primordial Heavenly Venerable delivering teachings to the Divine King of Longevity and Protecting Blessings, the text is relatively short. It states that all living beings who wish to adhere to the Great Dao must first practice the Three Purities: “First, purity of the body; second, purity of the mind; third, purity of speech”, after which they can cultivate the supreme methods of the Three Caves. Moreover, by reciting the “Incantation for Longevity and Extending Life” and the “Incantation for Accumulating Blessings and Virtues” on the Three Primes, Five La Festivals, Eight Solar Terms, Four Seasons, and one’s birthdate, one’s spirit and soul will become fully enlightened, evil ghosts and demons will be dispelled, blessings and virtues will accumulate day by day, and peace and happiness will be attained for all generations.
The scripture contains incantations and eulogies.
