The Tai Shang Zheng Yi Jie Wu Yin Zhou Zu Mi Lu 太上正一解五音咒诅秘箓

Paul Peng
The Supreme Orthodox Unity Secret Talisman for Resolving Curses of the Five Tones (Tai Shang Zheng Yi Jie Wu Yin Zhou Zu Mi Lu) has an unknown author.

The text mentions Zhang Zhengchang, Zhang Yuchu, Zhang Yuqing and other Celestial Masters of Orthodox Unity Taoism in the early Ming Dynasty, so it should have been compiled in the Ming Dynasty. It is a one-volume work included in the Zheng Yi Bu (Orthodox Unity Section) of the Daozang (Taoist Canon).

Purportedly imparted by Lord Laozi of the Great Pure Heaven to the True Orthodox Master, this book records the titles of the Divine Lords of the Five Directions, talismanic diagrams, images of deities, as well as the oaths, credentials and ritual incantations for receiving the talisman. It is stated that anyone who suffers disasters inflicted by evil people’s malicious prayers or curses from ghosts and gods can invite a Taoist priest to receive this talisman, thereby "resolving curses, dispelling malicious prayers, eliminating disasters and overcoming adversities, and prolonging lifespan to attain longevity".
