Taishang Zhenyi Bao Fumu Enzhong Jing (The Scripture of the Supreme Unity on Repaying the Great Kindness of Parents), the author of which is unknown. It is likely to have been composed during the Sui and Tang dynasties.
It consists of one scroll and is included in the Text category of the Cavernous Truth section of the Daozang (Taoist Canon).

The scripture is pseudonymously attributed to the Primordial Heavenly Worthy expounding teachings to the Immortal of Supreme Wisdom.
First, it describes the hardships of parents conceiving and raising children, emphasizing that their kindness is too profound to repay. Second, it exhorts people in the world to observe fasts, recite scriptures, and establish Taoist altars to dispel disasters and evil spirits for their parents, ensuring that living parents enjoy longevity and happiness, or that the souls of deceased parents ascend to heaven and avoid falling into hell.
A eulogy is appended at the end of the text.
This scripture is modeled after the Buddhist Scripture on the Great Kindness of Parents.
