The Wang Jiaohua 王教化

Wang Jiaohua (1907-1989) was born in Zhengzhou, Henan Province.
He became a monk at Wudang Mountain and studied under Master Zheng Heyu.

Upright and loyal by nature, he studied diligently and devoted himself to Taoism, later serving as the warehouse keeper.
During the revolutionary war period, he supported the Red Army and took great pains to nurse the wounded. After 1949, he successively served as a deputy to the Hubei Provincial People's Congress and a member of the Hubei Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
In 1980, he was elected Vice President of the Chinese Taoist Association, and in 1984 and 1987, he served as Honorary President of the Wudang Mountain Taoist Association for two consecutive terms.
