The Wang Mingzhi 王明志
Paul PengShare
Wang Mingzhi was a figure of the Northern Song Dynasty.
He was officially registered as a Taoist at Duanyun Palace. Later, he traveled and sojourned across mountains including Huashan Mountain, Taishan Mountain, and Shaoshi Mountain. During his journeys, he encountered an extraordinary person who taught him the technique of ascending to immortality.

After attaining the Dao, he rode a white crane and ascended to immortality. The local people thus renamed the palace where he once resided "Baihe Guan" (White Crane Temple).
