The Scripture of Wonderful Mysteries of Transforming the Void, Spoken by the Primordial Celestial Worthy

It is one of the ancient Numinous Treasure Scriptures of Taoism, which was probably compiled around the period of the Southern and Northern Dynasties or the transition from the Sui to the Tang Dynasty.
Jiang Shuyu’s Catalogue of Scriptures for Pacifying and Establishing Altars records the "Scripture of Wonderful Mysteries of Transforming the Void of the Cave Mysterious Numinous Treasure", which is exactly this text.

Consisting of one scroll, it is included in the Benwen (Original Text) category of the Dongzhen (True Cave) Section of the Daoist Canon.

The scripture is pseudonymously attributed to the Primordial Celestial Worthy commanding true immortals to impart its teachings, expounding the method of practicing the "Eight Ways of Transforming the Void". The Eight Ways refer to the days of the eight solar terms in the four seasons.

The scripture claims that the eight solar term days are "the grand celebration days when celestial beings assemble in heaven to confirm the true way", on which all gods gather to judge good and evil, and record merits and sins.

Those who cultivate the Dao should observe fasting, repent and make amends, burn incense and recite scriptures, make vows and chant incantations on these eight days. By resonating with the gods above, they can have their names inscribed in the jade registers and ascend to immortality in broad daylight.

At the end of the book, there are eight "Hidden Talismans of the Jade Vision for Transforming the Void Through the Eight Ways of the Spiritual True", and practitioners of the Dao can write and swallow one talisman on each of the eight solar term days.
