Thunder Pivot Repentance Ritual for Pardon
The content of this text is similar to The Precious Jade Pivot Repentance of the Celestial Lord of Universal Transformation by Thunder, Responding to the Primordial of the Nine Heavens, but the wording differs. The repentance text first states that a Taoist priest leads the believers to pay homage to "the Celestial Lord of Universal Transformation by Thunder, Responding to the Primordial of the Nine Heavens" and praise the divine power and virtues of the Celestial Lord. It then proceeds to confess one's own grievous karmic sins, praying for the Celestial Lord to grant forgiveness of sins and bestow blessings.
