Lingbao Yujian (The Precious Mirror of Numinous Treasure) consists of forty-three volumes, with an additional volume of Table of Contents. The author is unknown, and it was probably compiled during the Southern Song Dynasty. The entire book is divided into twenty-five sections.

The author holds that the scriptures and methods of the Lingbao (Numinous Treasure) school are the origin of all methods. Therefore, the first section (Daofa Shiyi Men: Section on Resolving Doubts about the Daoist Methods) in Volume One begins with resolving doubts about the Lingbao fasting rituals, covering concepts such as the "Four Translations," "Eight Clarifications," "Seven Classics," and "Eight Wefts," followed by expositions and discussions.
