《CHUANG TZU》 Ancient Taoist Wisdom and Philosophical Treasures

《CHUANG TZU》, also known as the 《Nan Hua Jing》,is a Daoist scripture authored by Zhuangzi and his followers during the mid-Warring States period. In the Han Dynasty, it was revered as the 'Nan Hua Jing,' and Chuang Tzu was honored as the True Man of Nan Hua. Together with 《Lao Tzu》and the 《I Ching》, Chuang Tzu' forms the triumvirate of the 'Three Profound.' The book delves into Chuang Tzu's philosophy, art, aesthetics, perspectives on life, and political ideology. James Legge, a prominent modern British sinologist, translated the English version of this work. As the first scholar to systematically study and translate ancient Chinese classics, Legge's translation is widely recognized in the West as the standard for understanding Eastern civilization and Chinese culture.

北冥有鱼，其名为鲲。鲲之大，不知其几千里也。化而为鸟，其名 为鹏。鹏之背，不知其几千里也。怒而飞，其翼若垂天之云。是鸟也 ，海运则将徙于南冥。南冥者，天池也。
