What is The Dāng (铛)

The Dang, also known as "Single Tone", "Copper Drum", etc., and commonly called "Dangzi", is a small gong fixed on a long-handled wooden frame, which is struck with a plectrum to make sound. If ten small gongs are fixed on the same wooden frame with a long handle attached, it is called "Yunluo" (cloud gong) or "Yun'ao".
