Hexagram Name:
Xiao Xu Hexagram [Extremely Inauspicious Hexagram] Accumulate and Nurture for Progress

Image Interpretation:
Seedlings meet a drought, their tips all withered; water longs for thick clouds, yet no rain falls to moisten them. Farmers look up to the sky and sigh deeply; one should proceed gently and not aim too high. This hexagram is an overlap of different trigrams (Qian below and Xun above). Qian represents the sky; Xun represents the wind. It implies favorable weather for crops to grow, hence the name "Xiao Xu" (minor accumulation/storage). The strength is limited, and one can only achieve great things after developing to a certain extent.

Career:
The time is not yet ripe. One should patiently and actively accumulate strength, and must not take risky actions. Do not lose heart when encountering setbacks; summon courage to overcome difficulties, adhere to principles, strengthen unity and cooperation, and make all preparations in advance. Success will be achieved.

Set lofty goals, strive for them with utmost efforts, humbly seek advice from others, obtain sincere help, and realize one's ideals. Be vigilant against the sabotage of villains.

Decision-Making:
The going is not very smooth, and there will be some unexpected difficulties along the way. However, due to one's strong character and the will to overcome adverse conditions, one can realize one's ideals. Nevertheless, one is very likely to be harmed by villains, and only with the sincere help of like-minded people can obstacles be removed. One should be content with what one has, know when to stop, and must not pursue excessively, lest excess leads to loss.
