Esoteric Dunjia of the White Ape

This book deals with the military art of Liuren Dunjia, divided into five methods:

First, Six Jia Divine Arrows Method. By reciting incantations and breathing according to the method, and writing the Six Jia Talismans to attach to arrowheads, one can ensure “every shot hits the mark.”

Second, Casting Green Dragon Sword and Refining Great Elixir Method. Refining and ingesting the Nine Lights Elixir, and washing the eyes with water consecrated by the Eye‑Purifying Talisman, enables one “to see all gods and spirits in heaven, on earth, and among humans.” Also, entering famous mountains to gather the Eight Minerals to refine the Great Elixir; ingesting it grants longevity. Forging the Green Dragon Sword from the Five Metals allows one to take an enemy’s head from ten thousand li away.

Third, Five Transmutations Method. Writing the Five Transmutations Talismans and reciting the Five Transmutations Incantations grants invisibility and shapeshifting.

Fourth, Seven Stars Method. Applying the Seven Stars Talismans bestows divine powers: invisibility, passage through the netherworld, shattering mountains and drying seas, summoning and commanding ghosts and spirits.

Fifth, Eight Trigrams Method. Applying the Eight Trigrams Talismans functions to defeat enemies and eliminate bandits, conceal and protect the practitioner.
