The Purple Court's Sin-Purging Liturgy FULL NAME IS

Supreme Mysterious Directorate’s Ritual of Repenting Sins and Purple Mansion’s Rite of Dispelling Disasters

Anonymous author.
Judging from the textual content, this work appears to be a scroll compiled between the Tang Dynasty and Song Dynasty, and is included in The Daozang (Taoist Canon), under the Dongxuan Section, Ritual Category.

It records the honorific titles of 150 Heavenly Worthies. Mortals burn incense to pray to the Three Pure Ones (the highest deities in Taoism), the Supreme Sages and other deities, wholeheartedly surrendering to the 150 Heavenly Worthies and the Four Great True Immortals, bowing in repentance and seeking forgiveness. They implore the deities that "on the day when the Mysterious Directorate examines sins, sins shall melt away like ice; at the time when the Purple Mansion sends calamities, disasters shall be swept away like mist". Hence the title Supreme Mysterious Directorate’s Ritual of Repenting Sins and Purple Mansion’s Rite of Dispelling Disasters.
