There are two types of Taoists.
One type is the clergy Taoists, namely "daoshi"道士 (Taoist priests). According to *The Classic of the Great Azure Radiant Book*, it is said: "Those who practice the Great Tao are called daoshi." "Those whose body and mind conform to the principles and follow the Tao are thus called 'daoshi'." Geographically, they can be classified into Maoshan daoshi, Luofu daoshi, etc.; in terms of their line of succession, they can be divided into "Zhengyi" daoshi, "Quanzhen" daoshi, etc.; according to their duties in Taoist temples, they can be categorized as "abbot", "hall master", "usher", etc.
