The Dongxuan Section 洞玄部

The second section of the Three Caves in the classification system of Taoist scriptures.

Yunji Qiqian (Seven Tablets in a Cloudy Satchel), Volume 6: "Dongxuan (Grotto of Mystery) derives its name from its function of creating heaven and establishing earth without stagnation; the teaching of Dongxuan takes the Spirit Treasure Lord, the founder of the religion, as its manifestation, and the qi of the Supreme Jade Void of Chi Hun Tai Wu Yuan as its origin."

According to the General Principles of Daozang Scripture Catalogue: Scriptures revealed by Taishang Daojun, the Medical King of the Three Realms, are titled Dongxuan Scriptures.

All scriptures attributed to the circulation of Taishang Daojun and those compiled by later generations under the pseudonym of Daojun are included.

This section is based on the Lingbao Scriptures, and the Taiping Section in the Four Assistants serves as its supplement.
