Li Chongyao (1353–?) était originaire du comté de Xiangfu, Kaifeng, Henan, pendant la période Zhizheng de la dynastie Yuan .

Son nom de courtoisie était Shuling, et son nom littéraire Huanjingzi. Dans son enfance, il étudia le confucianisme et aimait lire des livres tels que Guiguzi (Le Livre du Maître Guigu) et Nan Hua Zhen Jing (Le véritable classique de la floraison méridionale, également connu sous le nom de Zhuangzi ). Il tira de ces œuvres une profonde compréhension et une résonance spirituelle. À l'âge mûr, il rencontra Zhang Benling, devint son disciple et reçut l'enseignement du Dao suprême (Tao).

Il était le patriarche de la troisième génération de l'école Nanwu (une branche du taoïsme).

Paul Peng is a Zhengyi Taoist priest from Longhu Mountain, Jiangxi — the ancestral home of the Celestial Masters' tradition. Ordained at 25 after a dream from the Celestial Master, he has practiced for 25 years under Master Zeng Guangliang. He is the curator of this store, which is officially authorized by Tianshi Fu. All items are consecrated at the temple by the resident priest team.
