Li Jingchang était une figure du début de la dynastie Ming .

Il était un prêtre taoïste de l'école Zhengyi (Unité orthodoxe).

Il a occupé le poste de Daoji (administrateur taoïste) de la préfecture de Jingzhou à Huguang.

Durant l'ère Yongle, il fut officiellement nommé par ordre impérial « Tidian » (administrateur principal) du palais Dasheng Nanyan (palais du grand sage Nanyan) sur le mont Wudang.
