Le Liu Chongyong 柳冲用

Liu Chongyong était un personnage qui vécut de la fin des Cinq Dynasties au début de la dynastie Song du Nord.
Son nom littéraire était Xuanmingzi, et il était un prêtre taoïste de la tradition Shangqing Dadong (une école majeure du taoïsme axée sur les rituels ésotériques et la méditation).

Il rencontra un jour un maître spirituel et reçut la transmission d'enseignements taoïstes essentiels et profonds. Il composa dix poèmes intitulés Jusheng Ge (Odes aux graines de tournesol géantes), qui célèbrent les subtils mystères du plomb, du mercure et des Cinq Éléments (métal, bois, eau, feu, terre) dans l'alchimie taoïste. Le langage de ces poèmes est assez énigmatique.
