The Numinous Treasure's Beneficent Saviors Scripture FULL NAME IS
The Sacred Scripture of the True Lords of Boundless Grace and Divine Salvation, Spoken by the Lord of Numinous Treasure
The author is unknown, and the scripture was probably compiled in the early Ming Dynasty.

Prefaced by an imperial edict composed in the 18th year of the Yongle reign (1420) by the Yongle Emperor of the Ming Dynasty, the foreword states that the True Lords of Boundless Grace and Divine Salvation were Xu Zhizheng, Prince of Jiang, and Xu Zhi'e, Prince of Rao, of the Jiang Kingdom during the Southern Tang Dynasty of the Five Dynasties. The two brothers were conferred the title of True Lords for their meritorious deeds of safeguarding the state and redeeming the people. The Yongle Emperor once prayed to the two True Lords for protection during an illness, hence he issued an imperial decree to engrave and circulate this scripture widely.
This scripture purports to record the Primordial Heavenly Sovereign expounding the karmic retribution of causal affinities, exhorting all sentient beings to cultivate the virtues of loyalty, filial piety, benevolence and righteousness, burn incense and pay homage to the True Lords of Boundless Grace with sincere prayers. By doing so, one may inwardly gain blessings and prolong lifespan, outwardly dispel calamities and overcome tribulations; one may also enable the spirits of ancestors to attain transcendence on the upper level, and ensure peace and tranquility for one’s family and kin on the lower level.
